There will be three rounds of wrestling Friday. Round two will be a round of consolation and championship matches, with the final round being a second round of consolation matches.

Tide advances 8

The first round of the mythical "Road to Hershey" was a good one Saturday for the Columbia wrestling team.

At the Class AA, Section 2 tournament held at Milton Hershey High School, the Tide finished second in the team standings behind Donegal and advanced eight to the Class AA District 3 Tournament Friday and Saturday at the old Hersheypark Arena.

Joey Ronca was the only Columbia wrestler to win a section title at 119.

Garrett Mowrer was second at 140.

Placing third were Kenny Weidman (103), Anthony Wallick (119), Derrick Armold (152) and Sebastian Lefever (171).

Placing fourth were Brandon Felus (189) and Brian Groff (285).

The top four wrestlers in each weight class moved onto districts.
